Properties and Uses: Ammonium tetramolybdate is divided into α-type and β-type, with β-type further classified into standard and wire-drawing grades. This product is a white crystal that easily weathers in air. It decomposes when heated to 150°C, is slightly soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, and has a loose bulk density of 0.6-1.4 g/cm³.
This product is used as a catalyst in the petroleum industry and synthetic wool production, and is also an excellent catalyst and flame retardant for textiles. It is also used as an industrial raw material in photography, powder metallurgy molybdenum, ceramic glazes, pigments, and pharmaceuticals.
Packaging: The product is packed in iron drums or woven bags with double-layer plastic liners, with a net weight of 25/50 kg per drum (bag).
